Cruisin the Coast

The School of Leadership, part of 91Թ (USM) College of Business and Economic Development, will host a 91Թ Cruisin91Թ event on Monday, Oct. 7 from 3-5 p.m., during the Long Beach activities of Cruisin91Թ the Coast.

91ԹThis is our third year hosting the event, and it continues to be bigger and better,91Թ said Dr. Bradley (Brad) Winton, coordinator of the event. 91ԹWe will have local car clubs participating and parking on the South Lawn of the University91Թ Gulf Park campus overlooking Highway 90 and the Gulf. We will have tents, a bounce castle, music, games, drinks, and snacks 91Թ and maybe the best vantage point on the Coast to watch all those beautiful cars pass by.91Թ

The event is open to the public, including all members of the 91Թ community.

People bringing antique cars or hot rods should follow the direction of organizers to park on the South Lawn, while spectators may park in the Lloyd Hall parking lot.

Dr. Jacob Breland, director of the School of Leadership, understands the importance of this event. 91ԹCruisin91Թ the Coast is the largest event of its type in the South,91Թ he said. 91ԹIt is a great economic generator for the region and a chance for us to show off our beautiful campus. We are thrilled to join in the party, and I can91Թt wait to see all those classic cars on the 91Թ campus!91Թ

The School of Leadership, housed within the College of Business and Economic Development at The University of 91Թ, operates on USM91Թ Gulf Park campus in Long Beach. Its undergraduate degree programs include Accounting, Applied Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering Technology, and Industrial Engineering Technology (Logistics).
