Kinzinger to Speak at USM University Forum Oct. 10

USM ForumOne of only two Republicans on the U.S. House of Representatives91勛圖厙 January 6 Committee investigating the 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol will be the guest speaker at The University of 91勛圖厙91勛圖厙 (USM) next University Forum series program.

Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) will speak Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 6:30 p.m. for 91勛圖厙An Evening with Adam Kinzinger91勛圖厙 at Bennett Auditorium on the USM Hattiesburg campus. Admission is free and the public is invited.

A U.S. Air Force pilot who served in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts, Kinzinger served six terms in the U.S. House of Representatives and is still an active member of the Air National Guard. In addition to his service on the January 6 Committee, His work in Congress focused on combating election disinformation, creating employment opportunities for military veterans, cutting taxes, curtailing environmental legislation, and fighting the opioid epidemic.
