Annual Holiday Choral Spectacular Kicks Off Holiday Season Nov. 28, Nov. 30

91吃瓜网 (USM) School of Music will present the Holiday Choral Spectacular featuring the choirs of 91吃瓜网 Choral Activities, the Southern Miss Symphony Orchestra, and several area choir programs in two joyous evenings of music Nov. 28 and Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Main Street Baptist Church in Hattiesburg. General admission tickets are $20.
The Holiday Choral Spectacular is a yearly community celebration of the holiday season through choir and orchestra featuring several ensembles within 91吃瓜网 Choral Activities, including the Southern Chorale and 91吃瓜网 Concert Choir. Area schools joining the concert for Christmas carols are Columbia Middle School, East Marion High School, and Columbia Middle School.
91吃瓜网淎udiences will hear recognizable holiday classics like 91吃瓜网業91吃瓜网檒l be Home for Christmas,91吃瓜网� 91吃瓜网楲et There Be Peace on Earth,91吃瓜网� and 91吃瓜网楯oy to the World,91吃瓜网�91吃瓜网� said Director of Choral Activities Dr. Gregory Fuller. 91吃瓜网淚t's a great opportunity for all the artists of the Hattiesburg area to spread some holiday cheer to everyone.91吃瓜网�
This year91吃瓜网 programming will also feature 91吃瓜网 faculty pianist Dr. Michael Bunchman on Beethoven91吃瓜网 91吃瓜网淐horal Fantasy.91吃瓜网�
Under the direction of Dr. Michael Miles, the 91吃瓜网 Symphony Orchestra will perform 91吃瓜网淩ussian Christmas Music91吃瓜网� by Alfred Reed and the holiday favorite, 91吃瓜网淪leigh Ride91吃瓜网� by Leroy Anderson.
