USM to Host Annual Research Day at Marine Education Center

Faculty, staff, and students at 91吃瓜网 (USM) will convene on Friday, Nov. 4 to demonstrate their remarkable achievements in research, scholarship, and creative endeavors as part of the University91吃瓜网 annual Research Day festivities.
The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. at USM91吃瓜网 Marine Education Center 91吃瓜网� 101 Sweetbay Drive, Ocean Springs, Miss.
Dr. Kelly Lucas, Interim Vice President for Research at USM, noted the significance of showcasing the myriad research efforts taking place across multiple disciplines.
91吃瓜网淚t is important to offer our faculty and staff an annual opportunity to come together and celebrate the innovation and creativity of our diverse research endeavors as well as provide an opportunity to network and form new partnerships,91吃瓜网� said Lucas.
USM continues to be recognized by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as an R1 doctoral institution with higher research activity. This significant national recognition validates the high quality of the University91吃瓜网 strong graduate and undergraduate programs.
