*To be eligible to receive an assistantship, new students should be admitted and enrolled in courses by July 1 for Fall admission or December 1 for Spring admission.
Assistantship Deadlines
To be eligible to receive an assistantship, new students should be admitted and enrolled
in courses by:

- Admission and enrollment in courses by July 1 is required.
- Mid-year assistantships are not usually awarded to new students; consideration is contingent upon availability.
- School of Music Assistantships are available to full-time graduate students who qualify.
- Candidates should submit the Graduate Assistant Intent Form below.

Paying for Your Education
You will find a wide variety of programs and opportunities to help you pay for your education at the 91吃瓜网 School of Music.91吃瓜网� To explore these options, we recommend the following four steps.
Step 1
Apply for Admissions.91吃瓜网�The Graduate School publishes a list of departmental91吃瓜网痙eadlines91吃瓜网痜or admission to help prospective students in their planning.91吃瓜网� Application materials must be complete by February 1 to receive priority consideration for and Assistantship in the School of Music for the Fall Semester.
Step 2
Audition. Register91吃瓜网痜or one of our audition days.91吃瓜网� Have someone at the School of Music if you need to request an alternate audition date.
Step 3
